Derek Jones is originally from a small town in Northeastern North Carolina, where he was raised in a blue-collar family where he was taught to work hard, be honest, and show respect to all. At the age of twenty-six, Derek and his wife, Holly, moved to Hampton Va, where they would live for nine years serving as Pastors to a local congregation, as well as serving on several Non-Profit boards. It was during those years that Derek fell in love with the commonwealth of Virginia, and its people.
In 2022 Derek and his family had the privilege of moving to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, a place that Derek has frequented his whole life, to serve another congregation.
Throughout his past two decades of years of service, Derek came to realize how important home ownership is for everyone. He became a licensed REALTOR® in the Commonwealth of Virginia with a desire to share his personal and professional experience to help clients achieve their homeownership goals.
Derek knows the importance of owning a home. A place where one can be themselves, enjoy life, and rest. He understands that homes are investments of time, money, and emotions. He also knows first-hand how challenging transitions to a new area can be.
Derek Jones is happily married to his wife Holly and has four children whom he adores. Derek also is the Chairman of Landmark World Missions, a Non-Profit organization that has an orphanage in Tanzania, Africa.
